10 Years, 10 People, 10 Questions

With Luke Savva, Head of Account Management, South

As InfoTrack celebrates its 10-year anniversary, we’re spotlighting the people who helped shape the journey. In this edition, we sat down with Luke Savva, Head of Account Management, South, to ask him 10 questions about the last 10 years, what’s changed, what’s mattered, and what makes InfoTrack special.

1. You joined InfoTrack in 2016. What first drew you to the company, and how did your legal background influence your decision?

I’ve always had an interest in tech, and when I first came across InfoTrack, it was clear there was a real ambition to do something different and disrupt the status quo. Once I started looking at the products, I could immediately see the value, especially from the perspective of someone who’d worked in a busy conveyancing team.

2. From Account Manager to leading a regional team, what’s been the most defining moment in your career here so far?

The transition from “doing” to mentoring was something I was really passionate about. For me, it feels career-defining every time a new Account Manager tells me they’ve found a solution to a complex problem.

3. Conveyancing has changed massively in recent years. What shift have you seen that you think will stick long-term?

I think the biggest changes are digital onboarding and digital signatures. Firms have become far more open to delivering parts of the transaction digitally, which reduces the need to call clients in for appointments for what are often purely administrative tasks.

4. If you could fast-forward 10 years, what would you hope law firms have embraced that they’re still resisting today?

I think there’s still a lot of potential for greater collaboration. Conveyancing is a non-contentious area of law, and I’d love to wake up in 2035 and see that legal technology has truly empowered firm-to-firm best practice.

5. Leadership styles evolve, how would your team describe yours, and how has it changed over the years?

Early on, I wanted to be very hands-on and encourage the team to do things exactly as I would, having done the role myself. Over the last six years, I’ve learned to give them much more autonomy to develop their own strengths. These days, I try to step back, focus on mentoring, and only step in as a point of escalation when it’s really needed!

6. What’s one conversation or client success that’s stayed with you and still makes you proud?

Seeing people’s reactions when they realise how easy InfoTrack is to use never gets old. One moment that’s stuck with me is a client exclaiming, “It’s like the holy trinity!” when disocvering how all of our services are integrated.

7. You’ve worked closely with law firms across the South. What do you think makes a truly strong partnership in this space?

Our strongest partnerships are with firms that really understand the potential of technology and how it can support their business, whether that’s driving growth, improving client service, or helping to upskill their teams.

8. You juggle a lot - strategy, people, clients. What’s one thing that keeps you focused and motivated through it all?

Really embracing and enjoying the challenge of growth.

9. Outside of work, you’re into food, fitness, and snowboarding. Which of those hobbies has taught you something surprisingly useful in your career?

All three have taught me that you can’t expect results instantly. It takes patience, and you can’t be afraid of getting things wrong. Being able to laugh at yourself along the way helps too.

10. Finally, if you could go back and speak to 2016 Luke on day one, what would you tell him?

You really didn’t need to wear a tie, buddy.
